2021-2022 TIDE Now Open

Aug 3, 2021

The Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE) is now available for the 2021-2022 school year. Consistent with last year’s practice, 2020-2021 TIDE user accounts will roll over. DTCs will not be required to add users back to the system in the fall. DTCs will manage user permission to administer tests by test group (ELPA Screener, Summative, and/or Interim tests). Test group permissions for ELPA Screener have been rolled over from 2020-2021 to facilitate early Screener administration; all other test group permissions have been removed.  As a best practice to ensure security, DTCs should delete users who no longer need access to the assessment systems. All users will be required to reset their password when logging in for the first time for the 2021-2022 school year.

As in past years, DTCs may request a list of users in their district from the previous year from their regional ESD partner to facilitate the review of user accounts in 2021-2022. Additionally, 2020-2021 student records have been deleted from TIDE. ODE will load student records for 2021-22 in TIDE beginning on Monday, August 16, 2021. The 2021-2022 TIDE User Guide provides further information about TIDE.
