The 2022-2023 secure browsers for Windows and Mac desktop devices are now available for download and installation on the OSAS Portal Secure Browsers page. The Secure Browsers page provides basic installation instructions. For detailed installation instructions, refer to the Setting Up Student Workstations section for each operating systemon the Technology Guide page on the OSAS Portal. For information about the supported operating systems for the 2022-2023 school year, please refer to the Technology Guide page on the OSAS Portal.
- The new 2022-2023 Mac secure browser version 15 will be used for macOS version 11.6 and up. Users must continue to use the 2020-2021 Mac secure browser version 12.5 for macOS version 10.15 only. The 2021-2022 Mac secure browser version 14 will no longer be supported.
- Support for the Windows desktop 2021-2022 secure browser will end on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Users may continue to use the 2021-2022 Windows secure browser for secure testing until support ends on August 31, 2022.
- New secure browsers for iPadOS and ChromeOS devices will be available in the App Stores by July 30, 2022.
