The statewide test window for the Alt ELPA is now open for the 2022-2023 school year. The 2022-2023 Secure Browsers are available for download and installation on the OSAS Portal's Secure Browsers page. The Alt ELPA User Guide and Oregon Test Administration Manual (TAM) are available on the OSAS Portal to assist with any questions regarding test administration. The Translated Test Directions for these assessments are also available on the OSAS Portal. The Alt ELPA TA Directions and Scoring Rubrics Booklets, which are necessary to administer the test, can be found under the General Resources pulldown in TIDE.
To participate in an Alt ELPA Assessment, both the student's English Learner Flag and Alt ELPA Tester Flag must be set to Yes in TIDE. The Alt ELPA test window closes on 3/24/23.
As a reminder, users need to have the "ELPA Summative" Test Group permission applied in TIDE to administer the Alt ELPA assessments. Districts may contact their Regional ESD Partner or the OSAS Helpdesk for more information.
