2020-2021 Secure Browsers for ChromeOS and iOS/iPadOS Devices Now Available
The 2020-2021 secure browsers for Chrome OS and iOS/iPadOS mobile devices are now available for download and installation from the app stores via the link on the OSAS Portal's Secure Browsers page. The secure browser apps will update automatically if they are already installed from previous test administrations. The Secure Browsers page provides basic instructions on installing the secure browsers. For detailed instructions on installing the secure browsers, refer to the Configurations, Troubleshooting, and Advanced Secure Browser Installation document for each operating system. These documents are available in the Technical Documentation Resources folder on the OSAS Portal. Chrome OS versions 83+ and iOS/iPadOS versions 12+ will be supported for the 2020-21 school year, upon the completion of testing for new versions following their release. For more information about the supported operating systems for the 2020-21 school year, please refer to the Operating System Support Plan on the OSAS Portal.
Support for all 2019-2020 secure browsers will end on Monday, August 31, 2020. Users may continue to use the 2019-20 secure browsers for secure testing until support ends on August 31, 2020.
