  • iPadOS 14.3 and 14.4 Now Supported for Online Testing

    iPads running iOS 14.3 and 14.4 are now supported for secure online testing. For additional information about supported operating systems, please refer to the Operating System Support Plan on the OSAS Portal.

  • New Features Now Available in TIDE

    The following new features are now available in the Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE):

    • An “All Districts” option is now available in the district drop-down list on the View/Edit/Export Student Test Settings and Tools page. District-level staff who have multiple district associations in TIDE are now able to search for students in all of their associated districts. The report will only be available to export to the inbox, and users will not be able to view the report in the TIDE interface.
    • An "All Schools" option is now available in Plan and Manage Testing participation reports. The limit of twenty schools has been removed. Reports showing results from all schools will only be available to export to the inbox, and users will not be able to view the report in the TIDE interface.
    • Rosters are now exportable as CSV files.

  • 2020-2021 ELPA Summative Assessments Now Available

    The statewide test window for the ELPA Summative assessments is now open for the 2020-2021 school year. Schools and districts whose local health and safety contexts allow may administer this assessment to students using the Secure Browser, with parent/guardian or adult student approval. The 2020-2021 Secure Browsers are available for download and installation on the OSAS Portal’s Secure Browsers page. The Test Administrator (TA) User Guide and Oregon Test Administration Manual (TAM) are available on the OSAS Portal to assist with any questions regarding test administration. The Translated Test Directions for these assessments are also available on the OSAS Portal. Please review Administering the ELPA Summative and Screener in 2020-21 for guidance on specific considerations regarding administration of the ELPA Summative in the 2020-21 school year.

    As a reminder, users need to have the “Summative” Test Group permission applied in TIDE to administer the ELPA Summative assessments. A PowerPoint Training, Granting Permissions to Administer Tests using Test Groups in TIDE, explaining how to use the Test Group feature is available on the OSAS Portal. Districts may contact their Regional ESD Partner or the OSAS Helpdesk for more information.

  • Chrome OS Version 87 Now Supported for Online Testing

    Devices running Chrome operating system version 87 are now supported for secure online testing. For additional information about supported operating systems, please refer to the Operating System Support Plan on the OSAS Portal.

  • Upcoming System Downtime

    This is a reminder of the upcoming scheduled system downtime for the Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE), the Test Delivery System (TDS), and the Online Reporting System (ORS). This downtime will be used for scheduled maintenance, the deployment of new features in TIDE, and the deployment of the ELPA Summative assessments. The all-system downtime is scheduled from Friday, February 5 at 5:00 p.m. PT to Sunday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m. PT. There may be intermittent downtime in TIDE and TDS on Monday, February 8.
