User Guides for 2020-21 Interim Assessments

  1. The Interim Assessment Guide for Administration of ELA & Mathematics is designed to familiarize Test Administrators with the OSAS Interim Assessment System. This document includes guidance for the administration of the interim assessments in both an in-person or remote environment. Additionally, it provides an overview of the reporting system included with the OSAS Interim Assessment System.
  2. The Quick Guide to Administering Interim Assessments Remotely describes how test administrators can remotely administer the ELA, Mathematics, and Science interim assessments and how students may access and participate in an interim assessment remotely.
  3. The Centralized Reporting System User Guide provides instruction and support for users viewing ELA, Mathematics, and Science interim assessment performance in reports in the Centralized Reporting System.
  4. The Assessment Viewing Application (AVA) User Guide provides instruction and support for users viewing ELA, Mathematics, and Science interim assessments for administrative or instructional purposes in AVA. AVA is a component of the Test Delivery System that provides Test Administrators with access to the actual interim assessments before students are tested. This access allows for greater understanding of the content being assessed and the time needed for student to complete an interim assessment.
  5. The Science Interim Assessments Quick Guide provides information about the Science Interim Assessments, which are available to districts and schools by purchase. It describes all aspects of the Science Inteirm Assessments, including the Assessment Viewing Application (AVA), secure browsers, the TA Interface, and the Centralized Reporting System.
